Stheno is one of the three Gorgon sisters. Stheno means strength. Medusa (meaning ruler or queen) and Euryale (meaning wide-leaping) are the other two sisters. In Greek mythology they are the daughters of the sea god Phorcys and his wife Ceto, they lived in the West near the setting sun. We are proud to announce each piece is handmade by artisans in the USA. Quality matte resin, cast from original, unique ancient, antique and rare objects. Any nuance is a scar of history and only add to its charm. A substantial piece weighing almost 2 ounces of solid resin. This piece would make a wonderful art doll. 3.25" diameter x .75" thickness.
