It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year...
That song positevely makes me happy, it's one of my faves every coming Christmas. I love making ornaments, decorating my home, and baking. I think my theme this year is trending towards gold Dresden, a definite fetish there as in my eyes Dresdens dress elegantly anything it touches! I also like the fact that just by looking at them I can find unusual shapes or uses for them!
I was working with the Imperial eggs when a customer came into my store, she asked, "can you make me an angel using that?" Ha, I immediately saw the angel and said yes! So this one's for her. I meticulously dressed it in gold, the new wings are just perfect used at a slight angle, I cut them in half to be able to use them this way. The center of my dress is the Falcon Crest, sort of upside down!
Have you had a chance to work with the new Andromeda Mini Throne? This tiny thing is so adorable!!! Of course I needed to try my hand at emebllishing it with Dresdens. It was a personal challenge since I was working on such a small scale. One of my faves is the new small Daisy Chain, so I split it in half in order to be able to work the beautiful curves in the wood!
