They teach, they tug, they inspire. Words...simple,direct,delicate words. My reality includes a place where my art cannot live without it's words. My pieces are not finished until they have something to say. They will often start the narrative to my work, ...other times,they finish it. In this case,I found them half way through the process, giving me the direction I needed to finish the piece.

I love this quote by Tom Stappard. “Words are sacred. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you can nudge the world”

How wonderful would that be?

In “Let yourself Be” this question arrived kicking and screaming. The choice, as always, is mine to answer it. "Let the world see who you really are", it screams. Let them see the beautifully imperfect, shy, constantly looking up at the sky, quirky, dreamer that I really am. It's scary to put yourself out there, but I've reached the point where it doesn't matter anymore what others think. The only thing that matters is what I think of me and if I would make my Momma proud. So here I am, learning as I go.
