I love the ocean, the sound of the waves, the fresh ocean air, the feel of the sand between my toes, walking along the beach just hoping to find a beautiful shell or maybe some sea glass.
I really miss having access to the coast and I am always longing to be closer to the ocean.
Soon I will be taking a trip to the East Coast and I’m very excited for a lot of reasons but one of them is because I will be going to the beach.
I made this cuff not only to wear on my trip but to bring the ocean a little closer to me every time I wear it.
As a child, we vacationed every year in Pismo Beach, California and there was always something to find after high tide. I remember collecting sand dollars and seeing who could find the biggest shell. I remember walking the pier holding my Dad’s hand. Just so many wonderful memories of the ocean.
My kids and I used to go to the tide pools on the coast in Northern California and I loved the star fish, the sea shells, all of the wonderful little pools of life everywhere, and they were all different, a new discovery in each little pool.
All of these things inspired me to make this piece of jewelry that I will wear on a regular basis.
The RELICS & ARTIFACTS® small shell from Coquille was the perfect piece to use for this cuff and I just really can’t wait to wear it and show it off. If you would like your own treasure of the sea, you're in luck! I've made a Snapguide to help you along the way.
